Dining Table and Chairs

Thanksgiving or Christmas, this To Do list will help you to move you forward easily toward realizing your goals for a fun and relaxing dinner party.

Remember to add items to the list, or change suggestions to meet your personal preferences.

If the number of guests exceeds the number of available dining chairs, then why not consider serving buffet style?

If you would rather not bother with fancy table linen, then use your favorite place mats and colorful cloth napkins.

If you have a better idea than Santa Hats to identify your helpers, then go for it. It's your party, you decide.

Please, keep GREEN and do not use paper plates and napkins and plastic cutlery. Just add an after dinner clean up crew to your cast of Christmas characters.

Christmas cards & invitationsComplete addressing for mailing
GiftsPurchase last minute Christmas gifts
Replenish hostess gifts
Wrap gifts and hide away
Wrap out-of-town gifts for mailing
FireplaceCheck wood and newspaper supply - replenish if necessary
Burn a fire to ensure fireplace is working well
Purchase a butane lighter - good for fire and candles
Invite guests for dinnerSend invitations, or call them. Remember to include invitations include person-specific character role and clear description.
Santa HatsLabel Santa Hats for appointed helpers. And, remember to make one for you, Chief, Queen/King
