Sleep Disorders Significantly Relieved
by the Healing Power of Meditation

Sleep disorders such as narcolepsy and insomnia are significantly relieved by the healing power of meditation.

The stress of sleep deprivation such as; lying awake in bed late at night, or in the early hours of the morning with non-stop thoughts like, I can't sleep, or, If I don't get eight hours of sleep I'm useless, no longer needs to be your experience.

People suffering from narcolepsy, a condition characterized by frequent and uncontrollable periods of sleep, experience fewer incidents, more profound sleep at night and much welcomed stress relief from meditating at least twice a day.

Sleep deprivation creates stress
in the central nervous system on two accounts.

  • First, many individuals who can't sleep soundly at night are plagued with negative thoughts.

They hold onto a belief that without the required amount of sleep they will be unable to adequately perform their daily activities.

Because they are attached to and expect a specific outcome, they become overly disappointed and fearful when their expectations are not met.

The biggest causes of harmful stress are beliefs and judgments that something is wrong with your life - in other words; negative thinking.

Stress from fearful and negative thinking accumulates in the central nervous system.

  • Second, the purpose of sleep is to heal the body. But because of our fast paced and overly stressful lifestyles, our normal sleep does not deliver the intended healing effects.

Adding to our overly taxed and stressed nervous system is the body's natural fight or flight response mechanism. It was intended to shut down as soon as the dangerous threat was removed, but rarely does so now in our highly stressed lives.

The Ishayas Ascension?

I'm sure that many meditations create stress relief, but my experience with Ascension allows me to vouch for its benefits.

Ascension gives your mind and body everything needed to restore itself to good health.

Twenty minutes of meditation provides a deeper rest than the deepest sleep at night.
