A quiet mind is a prerequisite
to meditation and relaxation. It is the portal through which you connect with the stillness deep within you. As you watch your thoughts, alertly and innocently, they begin to slow down and gradually they may even stop. The gap between your thoughts through which your awareness moves will reveal the vast and expansive stillness within that is the Source of all that is, or God, as many call it. It is absence of busy thoughts and your deep connection with Source that allows your body to relax, release stress and begin the healing process. The experience is usually an awesome peace and joy that is literally indescribable and beyond comprehension. It is only through experience that you can grasp the concept.
