Intuition and Time Management

Psychic Intuition and Time Management

Effective time management is easy if you trust and follow your psychic intuition. Your false ego is the only obstacle to intuitive decision making.

Ego entices you and consumes you. The thoughts are often accompanied by a gut reaction. Before you know it, your mind runs off on an unconscious stream of downward spiraling self-defeating and self-limiting thoughts.

Psychic intuition is a gentle clear knowing, or it could be an energetic enthusiasm. It comes from the stillness of the present moment. It could be a fleeting awareness and sometimes it is followed by a contradictory thought that I call the ego’s defense mechanism.

If your creativity stops flowing easily while you are setting goals or scheduling activities, just stop. Get up, take a short break from your work, bring your awareness into the present moment, and listen. You will be guided to the next best step in your time management project.

Detach from outcomes…

Also, for the sake of your emotional well-being, remain detached from the outcome To have a desire for outstanding results is positive. Combined with intention and appropriate action, your desired results will have a good chance of being fulfilled.

Being attached to the results of your goal setting is stressful and distracting and definitely not present moment activity. Drop your expectations and attachments and clear your path to success.

Are you having trouble staying in the present moment?

One of the benefits of meditation is the experience of awesome peace and stillness within. It is like candy for the mind. Give your mind the right vehicles - meditation techniques - and it will naturally and easily move inward.

Your inner wisdom will come through loud and clear from that present moment stillness.

If you do not have a meditation, here is an exercise to help you quiet your busy mind.

Go ahead and play with it. Eventually you will be able to cultivate the silence within. If you want some help with the exercise, let me know and I will guide you through it, via Skype.

Listen for inspiration from your psychic intuition. Test it on small stuff first. It will eventually prove its awesome power to guide you to your highest good.

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Trust your inner guidance…

Caroline Myss, an American medical intuitive, mystic, and author, says that if your intuition tells you to go to Texas and set up a store on the main street of some small town, do it.

I’ve never forgotten her words, but I dismissed them as “too far out there”. Go to Texas? Come now, who in their right mind would go to that extreme on an intuitive hunch?

In hindsight, I realize that I have followed some pretty wild hunches – two of them took me even further away from home than Texas.

My intuition has not steered me wrong. On the other hand, ignoring my intuition has probably given me more grief than I needed, but what the heck, grief is a great teacher.

Go ahead; take a leap of faith…

Back to effective time management, as you move through your day, feeling relaxed and consciously aware in the present moment, if any entry in your day timer feels a bit off, pay attention to that feeling.

Now may not be the right time to carry out that particular activity. So let go of it, cross it off and move it to a more appropriate day and time. Is that easy? That is intuitive time management at its best.

Life is easy if you...

  • Let go of your attachment to outcomes
  • Let go of beliefs and judgments that do not serve you
  • Take nothing seriously
  • Breathe, relax, take it easy
