6 Steps to Finding Balance in Life

Finding balance in life begins with making good choices. Where to begin? Start with the wheel of life, check in with your psychic intuition, then learn how to say NO. Down-loadable exercises provided. 199

If you live in the fast lane, feeling over-stressed, under-paid, unrecognized, unfulfilled and dissatisfied then STOP NOW.

You are teetering closer to the edge of insanity than you know. Your life is out of balance.

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every 4 Americans are suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

Rita Mae Brown

With so many tempting self indulgences to choose from it's easier to say YES, even when your health is at stake. But even saying YES can be difficult for some people.

And saying NO is not easy, particularly when it is work oriented. When you say Yes to your boss's request to work overtime, you forfeit quality time with your family.

Yes, life sucks when you give your power away; when your self confidence is at an all time low and you feel like you are spinning your wheels and going nowhere.

But listen up! You are in the right place
to learn how to balance work and personal life.

It helps to be aware of your driving forces, such as your values, beliefs and judgments. Do they serve you well?

Finding balance in life is easier when you look at your life from a different perspective.

Easier said than done?

That depends on your desire and determination to make permanent changes in your life.

If you knew that you could, how willing are you to do whatever it takes to create the life you want?

Start now with the following tips and techniques:

Finding Balance in Life
  1. First, let's define balance

Balance is not a point of arrival.

It is a fleeting experience that requires your constant alert attention.

Consider the balancing skills required by a downhill slalom skier.

While weaving her way down the obstacle course, she must stay alert and focused. Her conscious, consistent awareness is necessary to maintain her balance to successfully clear the gates, or to avoid serious injury by falling.

The greater her balancing skills the closer she will be to achieving her ultimate goals.

The same applies to you. The better you become at maintining your awareness in the present moment and staying alert, the better your ability to finding balance in life.

A life in balance is key to creating your life the way you want it.

  2. Try this exercise to experience balance in motion.

Stand on one foot for as long as you can. Notice the tiny little movements being made by all 33 of the muscles in your foot. Where is your awareness?

Now, while standing on one foot, move your attention away from your foot to an object a few feet away from you. Turn your head slightly to get a better view.

How did that slight distraction affect your ability to hold your balance?

Life is like that - constantly changing and presenting distractions as well as opportunities for making good choices.

  3. Finding balance in life from a different perspective

Complete this wheel of life exercise.

It clearly shows you, from a bird's eye view, what areas of your life have been neglected as well as those that have been over indulged.

Where do you spend your most of your time?

Which areas do you least enjoy?

What values, beliefs and judgments hold you back from enjoying your life?

  4. Too many choices?

How bumpy is your life according to your wheel of life chart?

Are there so many areas of your life that need attention that you don't know where to start?

    No problem!

Your psychic intuition knows exactly where to start.

Try this fun exercise to allow your intuition to help you choose.

  5. Learn how to say NO

Fear of saying NO indicates that you are being driven by false values, beliefs and judgments that exist in your subconscious mind.

Fear of saying YES is no less restricting. Analysis paralysis has fearful people unable to move spontaneously in any direction.

Fear of taking a risk is based on past experiences of failure by people who view failure as negative.

Did you just deny that you are in fear?

OK, call it what you like, but until you name it, recognize it for what it is, and accept it, you will remain in the dark.

You need to allow those ego thoughts to surface in your mind, and allow them to pass on through - without resistance.

Learning how to say NO and YES to yourself is crucial to finding balance in life.

Simply put, you are being driven by your ego's lies about you.

  6. Learn how to be consciously aware of your negative thinking

This exercise teaches you how to watch your thoughts and quiet your mind.

With frequent applications of this powerful mental technique you will begin to notice your negative thoughts; you may even develop the ability to stop them before they even develop in your mind.

But, it takes practice. Don't give up playing with it - it works!

And by the way, if it doesn't work for you, please contact me.

Once you master that technique, and experience the stillness that exists in the ever-expanding gap between your thoughts, you will want to develop the ability to maintain the stillness within, permanently.

The only way that I know is through regular practice of meditation.

  7. Learn how to meditate and make finding balance in life easier.

    Why meditate?

Until you know the experience of resting in the stillness of the present moment, you may not grasp how it relates to maintaining your life in balance.

Balance is fleeting. You must remain consciously alert and attentive to what is going on in your life?

Unconscious behavior drives you and distracts you from doing what serves you best.

Meditation, particularly the Ishayas Ascension, Ishayas Ascension, is the key to consciously finding balance in life.

I hope these 6 steps to finding balance in life are of great value to you.
